DESCRIPTION:It’s hard to believe Alyssa has been gone for almost an entir
 e year. We cannot let the anniversary of the tragic event that forever cha
 nged our world simply pass us by\, unmarked.\n\nWe will begin this powerfu
 l\, week-long event with the Alyssa Lokits Memorial Walk &amp\; Dedication
  Ceremony\, at noon on October 12.\n\nFamily\, friends\, community leaders
 \, partners and sponsors will gather at the Orchard Bend Parking lot of th
 e Mill Creek Greenway in Antioch\, then walk together to the Old Hickory T
 railhead to honor Alyssa's life and unending impact with a bench dedicatio
 n.\n\nNothing will ever feel like enough—but this is something that feel
 s incredibly meaningful. We would be honored for you to join us.\n\nThere 
 will be a community event to launch the jog-a-thon to follow at Orchard Be
 nd Park with live music\, vendors and food trucks.
