Step 1. Who’s on My Ballot for the 2024 Elections in Tennessee?
Tennessee has one of the lowest voter turnout rates in the country. This year, Tennesseans will elect the people who make laws about firearm safety. All 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives, 16 of the 33 state Senate seats, one U.S. Senate seat and all seats in the U.S. House of Representatives are up for election.
The primary is August 1, with early voting open July 12 – July 27. Not all primaries are contested. Tennessee does not require you to declare a party when you register, but you must request either a Republican or Democratic ballot when you vote in a primary.
