Our mission is to build safer, healthier communities by reducing preventable firearm tragedies across Tennessee.

Safer TN believes our state can support the Second Amendment and
firearm safety.

Tennessee is facing a mental health crisis and those in crisis can too easily access firearms.

As a nonpartisan organization, Safer TN is focused on working with the current legislature.

Firearm injury has been the leading cause of death for Tennessee children since 2017.

Data for poisoning deaths are not available for 1999, 2001, and 2004 due to low numbers. See “About the Data” for more information.
