Dr. Clay Stauffer

Senior Minister, Woodmont Christian Church

Dr. Clay Stauffer is the Senior Minister of Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville, Tennessee. A fourth-generation Disciples of Christ pastor, he became the youngest to lead the congregation in 2007 at age 27. Clay holds degrees from Texas Christian University (B.A.), Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and the University of the South (D.Min.), where his doctoral work focused on faith and politics in a polarized world. Beyond the pulpit, he is an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University, a columnist for The Tennessean, and the author of Spiritual Reflections on Faith, Values, & Culture and Preaching Politics. Clay and his wife, Megan, are proud parents of three children.​
