Rush Benton is a leader in the investment advisory industry and has been at the forefront of mergers and acquisitions for more than 25 years.
Before founding his current firm, Gorman Jones, he served as Head of Growth Strategy at CAPTRUST, where he helped guide the firm’s rapid expansion into the largest independent investment advisory firm in the U.S., with more than $1 trillion in client assets. He was also the Founder and CEO of WealthTrust, a Nashville-based company that grew to $10 billion in assets under management through the acquisition of 15 advisory firms across the country.
A Chattanooga native, Rush is a graduate of Baylor High School and Vanderbilt University.
A lifelong hunter and gun owner, he envisions a Tennessee where children are safe both at school and at home.
